Find a replacement for an existing pump

Identify the existing unit and check the details that determine fit.

‹ All solutions

A readable nameplate is the starting point. Keep the complete code, installation details and operating history together for review.

  1. Identify the unit

Record the full model code, including suffixes. Photograph the nameplate and complete assembly; mark unreadable characters instead of guessing.

  2. Check the connections

Compare the shaft, pilot, bolt pattern, rotation and ports with the applicable drawing. Identify the section if only a cartridge is needed.

  3. Explain the reason for replacement

State whether this is a planned replacement, a failed pump or a machine modification. Include symptoms and any recent changes to the system.
