Begin with the exact series
A document may cover several frame sizes, displacements and configurations. First locate the table and drawing that correspond to the required series. Keep the document title and revision with your enquiry.
Separate general family information from the line that applies to your specific configuration. If a value or suffix is unclear, ask for confirmation rather than filling the gap with a similar model’s value.
Read operating limits together
Collect the pressure, speed, fluid and temperature information applicable to the model. Pay attention to any distinction between continuous and intermittent conditions. A limit shown for one configuration may not apply to another.
Check the physical interfaces
Review the mounting flange, shaft profile, pilot dimensions and port arrangement. Check which end of the pump a rotation direction or drawing view refers to. Do not infer scale by measuring an image on screen.
For a replacement enquiry, send both the model code and the relevant drawing. For a new installation, provide the equipment interface requirements so the proposed configuration can be checked before ordering.
